Mrs. Wendy Michelle Stoker Blackmon, age 42, of Madison, AL, went to be with the Lord Saturday,  January 23, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital.

Mrs. Blackmon was born May 14, 1973, in Rome, GA, daughter of James Michael and Sarah Anna Blackwell Stoker.  She was a member of the Cross Pointe Church in Madison, AL.  She was also a homemaker and had been employed with the Fairfax County Public Schools.  Wendy was an amazing mother, wife, and friend.  She's touched many people's lives, and had angel wings made of gold.  Mrs. Blackmon was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Sarah Blackwell; uncles, Ralph Blackwell, Tommy Blackwell, Ronald Blackwell, Bill Blackwell, Robert Prather, and Dennis Stoker.

Mrs. Blackmon is survived by her husband, Jeffery Lorne Blackmon; sons, Kenneth Wayne Hogue, Jr., Michael Tyler Hogue, and Jeffery Bryan Blackmon; a daughter, Amber Michelle Blackmon; parents, James Michael and Sarah Anna Blackwell Stoker; and grandparents, James H. Stoker and Alice Pauline Stoker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blackmon will be held at 3:15 P.M. Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Russ Blackwell officiating.  Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memory Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Bob Blackwell, Donald Blackwell, Danny Ray Blackwell, Gary Blackwell, Rodney Blackwell, Luke Blackwell, and Larry Eugene Blackmon.

Mrs. Blackmon will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
