Mrs. Paula Annette Morrison Cleveland, age 77 of Lyerly, GA died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Cleveland was born August 29, 1940, in Trion, GA, daughter of the late Paul and Jewell McCollum Morrison.  She was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, was employed with Mohawk Industries.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Cleveland; brothers, Tommy Morrison and Mike Morrison.

Mrs. Cleveland is survived by her sons, Dennis (Mandy) Cleveland, Dan Cleveland (Jeffrey Rogerson); brothers, Eddie Morrison, David Morrison; sisters, Donna Ponder, Carrie Morrison; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Ledet (Trevor Milton), Kasie Elizabeth Cleveland (Jeremy Comeaux), Lacey Alexandra Cleveland (Jacques Agvert); great-grandchildren, Giovanni Inzerella, Sophie Inzerella, Dallas Cleveland, Lanie Comeaux, Jaxon Comeaux, and Liam Agvert.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Cleveland will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 22, 2017, from the Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating.  Pallbearers will be James “C.C.” Morrison, Joe Paul Morrison, Todd Ponder, Toby Morrison, Giovanni Inzerella, Jackie Mobbs, and Kevin Henderson.    

Mrs. Cleveland will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 21, 2017.
