Mrs. Nancy Wingate Garnett, age 75, of Culloden, GA,  formerly of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday January 24, 2015, in Pine Point Hospice in Macon, GA.

She was born on October 17, 1939 in Lexington, Missouri, the daughter of the late Herbert Walter and Alece Shelby Wingate of Lexington, Missouri.  Mrs. Garnett was a member of the First Baptist Church of Summerville.   She was preceded in death by her husband the late Charles Milton Garnett of Summerville, GA to whom she was married for 44 years.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Neal and Amanda Garnett of Culloden, Georgia.  Nancy Garnett has three granddaughters Lily Elizabeth (19), Emily Anne (18), and Mary Abigail (16) all of Culloden, GA. Nancy is also survived by her brother Kent Shelby Wingate of Higginsville, Missouri, and a host of nieces and nephews, Vicki (Galen) Church, Kim Goodlove (Duane), and Michael Wingate. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday January 27, 2015 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Hunter officiating with interment in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Rome, GA.  Pallbearers will be Archie McDonald, Duane Goodlove, Brandon Gurley, Rob Masters, Paul Mason, and Jack Allen.

Mrs. Garnett will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Monday January 26, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m.
