Mrs. Mary Lou Holden, age 92, of Gaylesville, AL, died Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Holden was born August 20, 1924, in Fort Payne, AL, daughter of the late LaFayette and Joann Stansell Bowman.  She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Holden; brothers, Bob Bowman, Carlton Bowman, Ralph Bowman, J. C. Bowman; and a sister, Thelma Bowman.

Mrs. Holden is survived by several nieces and nephews and close family friends, Donnie and Shelia Bullard.

Funeral services for Mrs. Holden will be held at 2:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be Derek Bullard, Michael McDowell, John Mason, and Michael Tucker.

Mrs. Holden will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon (E.S.T.) until the hour of service on Wednesday.
