Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Smith, age 58, of Summerville, GA, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Smith was born June 9, 1959, in Crossville, AL, daughter of the late Gaines L. Hubbard and Annie Jo Davis Hubbard.  She was a member of the Horizon Baptist Church, and prior to her retirement, worked as a school teacher.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Jeffery Smith; son and daughter-in-law, John Gaines and Joanna Ratliff; daughter, Ashley LeAnn Parks; brothers and sisters-in-law, David L. and Sherry Hubbard, James Wade and Kathy Hubbard, and Joseph Wayne Hubbard; sister, Judy Ann Hubbard; and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be at 3:30 PM- Monday October 23 at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. John Paul Harris officiating. Burial will follow at East Armuchee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 PM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
