Mrs. Edna L. Cook, age 86, of Lyerly, GA passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Cook was born September 7, 1930 in Trion, GA to the late Basil and Marie Russell Lewis. She was a homemaker and member of Lyerly First Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her husband; William Gaines Cook.

Mrs. Cook is survived by 2 sons; Billy Cook and Tommy Cook, daughter; Marie (Brian) Kautz, brother; James (Bo) Lewis, grandchildren; Matt Cook and Brett Cook, and great-grandchild; Tyler Cook.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Cook will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, October 21, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson cemetery with Billy Cook, Pete Denson, Tony Johnson, Brian Kautz, Brett Cook, and Gary McConnell serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Cook will be in state, and the family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the hour of the service at the Funeral Home.
