Mrs. Dorothy Ann McDaniel, age 69, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. McDaniel was born August 11, 1948, in Summerville, GA, daughter of the late Mose Adams, Sr., and Louie Beatrice Starling Crawford.  She was a member of the Mount Bethel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Cleveland Adams.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her husband, A. D. McDaniel, Jr.; step-father, Matthew Crawford; a sister, Irene Exum;  daughters, Catheryn Adams, Stephanie (Anthony) Chambers; step-son, Devon Thomas; grandchildren, Yasmyn Chambers, Kelvin Myricks, Anthony Chambers, and Jhayla Chambers; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. McDaniel will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop V. T. Hardin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lyerly Mount Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. McDaniel will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Monday.
