Mr. William Austell Bell

Mr. William Austell Bell, age 83, of Lyerly, GA, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Oakview Health and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Bell was born May 1, 1934, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Raymond and Nola Thomas Bell.  He was retired from Mohawk Industries and had been employed with the City of Menlo as a security officer. 

Mr. Bell is survived by his wife, Elsie Bell; a son, Milo Bell; daughters, Tracey Ledford and Mary Pettyjohn; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Bell will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 9, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Dutton officiating.  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Andy Wilson, Sheree Vallejo, Dennis Ledford, Haley Ledford, Daniel Scott, Justin Pettyjohn, and Shane Totherow.

Mr. Bell will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 8, 2018.
