Mr. Thomas Wayne Shaver, age 75, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday July 1, 2017 at Oakview Health and Rehab Center.

Mr. Shaver was born March 22, 1942, in Trion, GA, the son of Paul Edward Shaver and Violet Deering Haney.  He was retired from Shaw Ind. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was preceded in death by his wife; Patricia Ann Barnes Shaver, sister, Dorothy Simmons, brother, Jerry Shaver.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law;  Stephen Duane and Angela Shaver,  Jeffery Wayne and Connie Shaver, brother and sisters-in-law; Bobby and Linda Shaver, Dee Shaver, sister; Mary Elicker, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday July 3, 2017 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Spears and Rev. Jeff Shaver officiating. Interment will follow at Summerville Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be  Zach Shaver, Kasey Shaver, Patrick Shaver, Ray Jones, Robbie Carroll, Korei Shaver.  Honorary  pallbearers will be the staff of  Oakview Health and Rehab Center.

Mr. Shaver will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel and the family will receive friends Monday July 3, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.
