Mr. Odell “Jack” Mosteller, age 78, of Summerville, GA, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Mosteller was born March 16, 1939, in Holland, GA, son of the late Clifford and Edna Adams Mosteller.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed with the railroad industry.

Mr. Mosteller leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Gerald Stewart, Odell Mosteller, Jr., Marculous Mosteller; daughters, Juanqula Staples, Salina James; sister, Annie Doris Chaney; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Yvonne Etchison.  Several nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Mosteller will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 15, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Frank Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Michael Mack, John Martin, Willie Brown, Bobby Martin, Dan Mosteller, and Kenneth Underwood.

Mr. Mosteller will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Saturday.
