Mr. Johnny Lamar Keef, age 59, of Summerville, GA, passed away Friday October 10, 2014, in Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Keef was born July 30, 1955, in Lafayette, GA, the son of the late Jesse and Nancy Lorene Green Keef.  He was retired from Vines Construction Company.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandparents, Harvey and Dovie Green.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Craig Keef, children, Belinda and Jeremy Garrett, Kristy Keef Erwin, Nickola Laney, step-sons and wives, Fred and Cindy Hogue, Anthony and Niki Hogue, Lee and Patricia Laney, brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Joan Keef, grandchildren, Lee and Isabella Armstrong, Addie and Asher Garrett, 8 step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 12, 2014, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Hill Cemetery.   Active pallbearers will be Fred Hogue, Anthony Hogue, Lee Laney, Richey Anderson, Jacky Mobbs, and Leon Rowlls.

Mr. Keef will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
