Mr. John Franklin “Jack” Anglin, Jr., age 83, of Summerville, GA, died Monday, September 11, 2017, at Kindred Hospital.

Mr. Anglin was born July 28, 1934, in Summerville, GA, son of the late John Franklin Anglin, Sr. and Irene Tribble Anglin.  He attended the Berryton Church of God, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Bigelow-Sanford.  Mr. Anglin co-owned and operated Anglin’s Custom Woodworking and Anglin’s AAA Produce.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Whitley Anglin; and  brother, D. Anglin.

Mr. Anglin is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Harriet Anglin, Mike Anglin; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Ralph Maxey; grandchildren, Justin Anglin, Jeffery Anglin, Brett Anglin, Jacob Anglin, Garrett Anglin, and Suzanne Anglin; great-grandchildren, Madeline Anglin, Sullivan Anglin, Lexie Anglin, Connor Anglin, Mason Anglin, Emma Grace Anglin, and Rosie Anglin.

Funeral services for Mr. Anglin will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 14, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Ford officiating.  Entombment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum.  Active pallbearers will be Jeff Anglin, Justin Anglin, Jacob Anglin, Garrett Anglin, Jeff Brock, and Tony Ingle.  Honorary pallbearers will be the McDonalds Breakfast Club.

Mr. Anglin will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2017.
