Mr. Jervis Preston Rowlls

Jervis Preston Rowlls, age 48, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Friday April 6, 2018, in Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Rowlls was born August 27, 1969, in Rome, GA, the son of Mary Ellen Brannon Rowlls and the late John Paul Rowlls.  He was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church and was a truck driver for Tommy Roberts Trucking. 

Mr. Rowlls is survived by his son, Michael Rowlls; daughter, Bailey Rowlls; mother, Mary Rowlls; grandmother, Julia Mae Rowlls; brother, Steve McMeekin; and a sister, Candy Champion.  Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Rowlls will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 9, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewayne Teague officiating.  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jason Bryant, Jonathan Duncan, Marcus Strawn, Charles Daggett, Chandler Pettyjohn, and Barry Nelson.

Mr. Rowlls will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2018.
