Mr. James Edward Miller, age 68, of Menlo, GA, passed away Saturday November 21, 2015, in Redmond Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Miller was born December 26, 1946, in Trion, GA, the son of the late D.M. (Doc) Miller and Myrtle Estel Woodall Miller.  He was  employed with the Chattooga County Public Works Department. 

Survivors include his wife, Carol DeLay Miller, Daughter, Misty Burdick, Rome, GA, Step-son, Jeff Tomlin, Lafayette, GA, Step-daughter, April and her husband, Lamar Dennison, Lafayette, GA, Brother, Jesse Lee and his wife, Alisa Miller, Sister, Mary Ann Miller Wood, Grandchildren, Tyler Burdick, Austin Burdick, Dustin Dennison, Jonathan Tomlin, Jesse Tomlin, Great-grandchild, Weston Tomlin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 24, 2015, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Bishop officiating.  Interment will follow in  the Lyerly Cemetery.  Active and Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Chattooga County Public Works Department.

Mr. Miller will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Monday November 23, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m.
