Mr. James Nathan Henderson, age 63, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Saturday May 13, 2017, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Henderson was born August 8, 1953, the son of the late Woodrow William and Ruby Christine Ingram Henderson.  James was employed with Cook Produce, and known as "The Produce Man".  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife; Myrle Levon Henderson and sister; Brenda Jean Claire.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law; Christena Battles and Bud Mobbs, sisters and brothers-in-law; Gloria and Wallace Cook, Janet and David Hartman,  special friends;   Jim & Tammy Clark, Jerry Cook, Glen & Pam Marshall, Ray & Donna Williams, 5 grandchildren, 1  great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and  great-nieces  and great-nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday May 17, 2017,  from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mason Funeral Home.
