Mr. Herbert Wolfenbarger

Mr. Herbert Wolfenbarger,   96, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday March 17, 2018.  

Mr. Wolfenbarger was born October 29, 1921, in Grainger County, TN, the son of the late Joseph Raleigh and Nealia Malicoat Wolfenbarger.  He was retired Supervisor with Fitzgerald Oil Company, a member of the north Summerville Baptist Church, and a veteran of the United States Army having served in the European Campaign. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 58 years, Lorene Wolfenbarger and a brother, Hubert Wolfenbarger.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Crowder Wolfenbarger,  sons, Connie Wolfenbarger, Joe Wolfenbarger, Charles wolfenbarger, Jerry Wolfe, daughter & son-in-law, Judy and Joe Money, 13 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday March 19, 2018, at the Chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Garden.  Active pallbearers will be sons.

Mr. Wolfenbarger will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Monday March 19, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Summerville Baptist Church.
