Mr. Freddy Rich, age 60, of Summerville, GA, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015, in Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Rich was  born December 19, 1954, in Summerville, GA, the son of J.T. Rich and the late Lucille Hunter Rich.  Mr. Rich was a truck driver for Ellison’s and Son Trucking, and was preceded in death by  brothers, Arthur Thomas Rich and Ray Siffles.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Charlene McDonald Rich, children, Vinita Gayle Youngblood, Jay T. Rich, Billy Joe Rich, Jack Thomas Rich, Jacob Michael McDonald, father, J.T. Rich, brother, Jack Wesley Rich, sisters, Juanita Louise Martin, Vickie Diane Cleveland, Brenda Gayle Peek, 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday October 12, 2015 from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamie Maples officiating.  Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Josh Bates, Steve Bullard, Jonathan Hayes, Tracy Kelly, Donald Hatcher, and Michael Hall.  Honorary pallbearers will be Leon White, Phillip Nixon, and Nicky Carter.

Mr. Rich will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.
