Mr. Dewey Ray Henderson, age 84, of Lyerly, GA, died Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the Oakview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Henderson was born January 18, 1933, in Lyerly, GA, son of the late Dallas Ray Henderson and Eula VanPelt Henderson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jewell Smith.

Mr. Henderson is survived by his caregivers, Dr. Carter and Mrs. Linda Black, Candi Irvin; and several cousins.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Henderson will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from the South Carolina Campground Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Ed Judy officiating.  Pallbearers will be Matt Veatch, Mose Adams, David Daniel, Joe Reed, Carter Black, and Wesley Dawson.

Mr. Henderson will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday.
