Mr. Davis Lee McDaniel, age 69, of Summerville, GA died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.
Mr. McDaniel was born October 21, 1946 in Trion, GA, the son of the late Earl James McDaniel and Winnie Lee Crouch McDaniel. He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills and was a member of Pennville Missionary Alliance Church. He loved working with children at church, reading Louis L’Amour books, old westerns, and fishing. He was someone that loved people and had such a loving and giving spirit. He enjoyed giving donuts, candy, and other gifts to those he worked with and to those that cared for him. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him for his wonderful laugh and for a heart that was big enough to love everyone. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby McDaniel; a brother-in-law, David Elliott; grandparents, Norman and Nora Crouch, Annie and Bob McDaniel; sister-in-law, Mary McDaniel; and beloved daughter, Regina Eubanks.
