Mr. Daniel Mascio, Sr., age 84, of Rome, GA, died Monday, February 5, 2018, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Mascio was born January 25, 1934, in Hammonton, NJ, son of the late John Sr. and Catherine Mitidieri Mascio. Prior to his retirement, he was a boat builder with Viking Yachts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jane Hunt Mascio; sisters, Marie Reckner and Alvera Mascio.

Mr. Mascio is survived by his sons, Daniel Mascio, Jr., Robert Pettingill; daughters, Susan Ashner, Diane Pettingill, Kathleen Myers, and Angela Brockerman; a brother, John Mascio, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Shena and Rita Warren; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Mascio was cremated and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
