Mr. Charles Jay Ragan

Mr. Charles Jay Ragan, age 58, of Summerville, GA, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Ragan was born March 6, 1959, in Macon, GA, son of the late Chalmos C. “Bill” and Bernice Ragan.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an avid Georgia Bulldog Fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angel Ragan; and brothers, Billy Siffles and Ray Siffles.

Mr. Ragan is survived by his wife, Betty Ragan; a son, Shaun Ragan; brothers, Jack Siffles, Leon Siffles, Terry Ragan, and David Ragan; sisters, Glenda Green, Linda Wade, Barbara Blackmon, Betty Edgeworth, Dorothy Forest, and Geneva Fountain; grandchildren, Patrick Ragan, Gabbi Teeters, Gavin Teeters, and Evan Marbutt.

Funeral services for Mr. Ragan will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2018, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Westmoreland officiating.

Mr. Ragan will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service on Saturday.
