Mr. Calvin Daniel Koonce, age 26, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Koonce was born February 17, 1991, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, son of Gregory William Koonce and Charlene Annette Stephens Koonce.  He was Church of God by faith and was a self-employed welder.  He was preceded in death by grandparents, G.W. and Betty Koonce, and Charles Douglas Stephens.

Mr. Koonce is survived by his children, Emarie Jade, Londyn Kate, and Kayson Daniel; father, Gregory William Koonce; mother, Charlene Koonce; brothers, Stephen Koonce and William Koonce; grandmother, Barbara Stephens.

Funeral services for Mr. Koonce will be held at 4:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Lee and Pastor Charles Bishop officiating.  Interment will follow in the Berryton Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be George Koonce, D. J. Craig, Patrick Shaver, Nick Stout, Levi Brown, and Bubba Browning.  Honorary pallbearers will be all personal friends.

Mr. Koonce will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
