Mr. Bobby Delane Brown, age 82, of Cloudland, GA, died Monday, September 12, 2016, in Valley Head, AL.

Mr. Brown was born March 11, 1934, in Ardmore, AL, son of the late Nathan Turner Brown and Minnie Kathrine Bailey Brown.  Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a supervisor at Bigelow-Sanford.  He loved Nascar, college football (Georgia Bulldogs), and baseball (Atlanta Braves).  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Paula Delane Brown; and sisters, Doris Wooten and Barbara Reynolds.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joyce Lee Willingham Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Paula Brown; daughters and son-in-law, Barbie and Roger Dowdy, Pam Shirman; a sister, Juanita Reynolds; 9 grandchildren, Brian, Allen, Shanna, Matthew, Andrew, Stephanie, Amanda, Fallon, and Tara; 13 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Cliff and Julie Miller, Sarah, Noah, and John Paul "J.P." Hunt, Donna dn Thomas Harvey, Jimmy Sue Smith, Tony and Gloria Smith; and his furry friends, Cleo, Leo, Honey Girl, and Tooter.

Private graveside and interment services were held Thursday, September 15, 2016, from the Summerville Cemetery with Mr. Cliff Miller officiating.  Active pallbearers were Allen Brown, Brian Brown, Matthew Dowdy, Andrew Dowdy, Benny Goss, David Tucker, Roger Dowdy, and Keith Brown.  Honorary pallbearers were Mavryck Brown, Manny Gallego, Nurse Practitioner Linda and PD Nurse Sheri from the Kidney Diagnostic Center of Rome, GA, the Fifth Floor Cardiac Care Unit of Floyd Medical Center, and the Doctors that took a personal interest and conducted themselves like family.
