Mr. Atlas Hudgins, age 57, of Trion, GA, died Friday, November 17, 2017, at Floyd Medical Center.

Mr. Hudgins was born November 23, 1959, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Allen and Sarah Mae Phelps Hudgins.  Prior to his retirement, he worked in the construction industry.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Louie Hudgins; sisters, Janice Hudgins, Elaine Hudgins, and Darnelle Prater.

Mr. Hudgins is survived by his wife of 19 years, Barbara Ann Bryant Hudgins; children,  Joshua Allen Bates, Michael Isham, Kevin Isham, Michelle Rogers, Sherri Scott, Cindy Orr, Melissa Maynor; brother, Gene Hudgins; sisters, Sue Baker and Lillie Snead; 28 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Mr. Hudgins will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday- November 25 at the chapel of Mason Funeral Home with Chaplain Jack Foley officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until the service hour.
