Mr. Arthur “Andrew” Watkins, age 59, of Summerville, GA, died Saturday, October 11, 2014, at his residence.

Mr. Watkins was born April 9, 1955, in Menlo, GA, son of the late Betty Miller and Arthur Watkins. He previously worked at Best Manufacturing and Century Glove.

Mr. Watkins is survived by his wife, Barbara Thomas Watkins; a sister, Carolyn Ruth Autry; brothers, Ronnie Watkins and Billy Ray Watkins; a special nephew, Doyle Thomas; and several other nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 17,  2014  at Macedonia Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Rutledge officiating.  Active pallbearers will be Bryant Tidmore, Jeff Hill, Andy Tidmore, Doyle Thomas, Scott Mitchell, and David Pendergraft.

Mr. Watkins will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
