Miss Jazminn Annemarie Rose "Jazzy" Kinney, age 6, of Lyerly, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Floyd Medical Center.

Jazzy was born November 28, 2009, in Rome, GA, daughter of Robert Wayne and Bryanne Marie Hatt Kinney.  She was a member of the Summerville Seventh Day Adventist Church and a first grader at Menlo Elementary School.  Jazzy was a fun-loving little girl who was always smiling and never knew a stranger.  She loved Jesus, church, cheerleading, t-ball, school, and she adored her friends.  Her little brother R. J. was her best friend, and she loved playing with her cousins.  Jazzy was preceded in death by her uncle, Chris Hatt; and her great-grandpa, Walter Hatt.

Jazzy is survived by her parents, Robert Wayne and Bryanne Marie Kinney; her brother, R. J. Kinney; grandparents, Laurie Anne Holland, Brian Hatt, Sr., Jim and Faye Link, Cindy and Juavanal Ramirez; aunts, Laurie Lilley, Autumn Ryan, Erika Ramirez, Shantal Hatt; uncles, Brian Hatt, Jr., and Cody Hatt; cousins, Carma and Shawn Hatt, Ronnie and Jordan Ramirez, Avery Ryan, Maddie, Trinity, Dallas, and Corbin Lilley, Donovan and Dylan Hatt.

Funeral services for Jazzy will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 3, 2016, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Skoretz officiating.  Interment will follow in the Alpine Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Cody Hatt, Donovan Hatt, Dylan Hatt, Avery Ryan, Chris Terry, and Donald McClelland.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jazzy's Chattooga Indians Ages 5 - 8 Cheerleading Squad.

Jazzy will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 2, 2016.
